Vue d’ensemble
Instagram Stories, Reels, and carousel content have different requirements. Use the settings and validation for the selected Instagram profile and format.
Review your Instagram version
- Choose Story mode where appropriate and check the preview’s layout.
- Inspect image and video dimensions, aspect ratios, duration, and carousel compatibility.
- Review caption and hashtag validation and any comments setting.
- Check that the Meta connection and required permissions remain valid.
When validation blocks the post
Correct the Instagram-specific version rather than changing every other platform unnecessarily. A format available in the Instagram app may not be available through the publishing integration.
