Edit a custom Short Link

Change a manually managed destination without changing its generated address.

Vue d’ensemble

Editing a custom Short Link’s target changes where its existing URLs send visitors. Check its Link Tree memberships before making a campaign-wide change.

Update the target

Open the link’s edit action
Find the correct Short Link and inspect its current destination and memberships.
Enter the new URL
Replace the target and update the optional custom slug if needed. Save and wait for confirmation.
Test the existing address
Open the generated or custom URL to verify it reaches the new destination.

Shared links affect trees too

Changing a destination used in a Link Tree also requires the corresponding Link Tree editing permission. A tree revision does not freeze the target of a shared Short Link.
