Troubleshoot Media Library uploads
Find out whether a failed upload needs a file change, access update, or retry.
Add-on
Overview
Read the upload error before restarting. A file can fail validation, storage transfer, or creation of its MediaFox library entry.
Choose the appropriate fix
- Unsupported type or too large: convert, compress, or replace the file.
- Sign-in or permission error: sign in again or ask an owner to check post-edit access.
- Add-on or organization error: select the correct organization and confirm Media Library is enabled.
- Storage or entry-creation failure: check the connection, then search the library for a completed item before retrying.
Persistent failure
Report the file type and size, organization, exact message, and time. Do not include private media unless it is necessary and appropriate for the support request.
