Use advanced text or regular-expression search
Use regular expressions when ordinary text search is too broad.
Overview
Regular-expression search matches text patterns rather than only the words you type. Plain text is usually the better choice when you just want to find a caption or phrase.
Use a simple pattern
Open Content Search, enable regex mode where offered, and enter a pattern. For example, sale|offer can match either word. Check any available case-sensitivity setting and review the result count.
Unexpected results
Characters such as brackets, dots, and parentheses have special meanings in regex. If the pattern is rejected or falls back to another search behavior, simplify it or turn regex off. Clear other filters when testing a pattern so you can tell what it actually matches.
Availability and access
Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
