Reporting permissions control access to Reporting & Analytics. The data shown also depends on accessible pages and what each platform supplies.
Reporting access
- Analytics or Reporting Viewer can read accessible dashboards and supported report output.
- Analytics or Reporting Editor can create and modify dashboards, widgets, and supported export schedules.
- Destination integrations and page access can impose additional requirements.
An empty widget is not always a role issue
Check its metric support, date range, filters, and data freshness before requesting a role change. The editor role does not create data that a platform does not provide.
