Create and manage post categories
Maintain consistent categories for organizing posts and reports.

Vue d’ensemble
Categories belong to your organization and can be used in Post Planner, Search, Calendar, and supported reporting filters. They are internal labels, not public caption hashtags.
Manage categories
- Open category settings
In Manage Organization, find the post-category controls with owner access.
- Create or rename
Use a clear unique name. Save and check that it is offered in post-label selectors.
- Remove carefully
Before deleting a category, review content and reports that rely on that label and read the confirmation.
Keep the scheme small
Agree on names with your team. Near-duplicate labels make filtering and campaign comparisons harder even when every post was labeled successfully.
