Why is a reporting widget empty?
An empty widget can mean missing support or collection, not zero activity.
Overview
Check the widget’s metric note, selected pages, dates, and filters. Some metrics are unavailable for a platform, account, or post type.
Check the data
- Review scope
Clear unrelated filters and choose a period with known activity.
- Check collection
Inspect connection health, freshness, and whether a new page or bulk report is still collecting.
- Read errors separately
Retry a failed request; do not interpret a load error as an empty successful result.
Ask for help
Include the dashboard, widget name, selected pages, period, and any notice. A screenshot of an empty chart without its scope is difficult to investigate.
