Why are AI agent settings inherited or locked?
The post may be using organization defaults rather than its own policy.
Overview
Inherited means the parent organization supplies the settings. Locked controls can also reflect missing editing access, unsupported scope, or conflicting defaults across a selection.
Choose where to edit
Change organization settings when the shared policy should change. Use a post override only when that post needs different behavior. Check the badges and scope before saving.
Return to defaults
Reset the post override to inherit the parent settings again. If several organizations are selected, narrow the scope so you can understand which policy applies. Missing overrides do not mean the organization policy was lost.
Availability and access
Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
