What happens to published posts when media is removed from the Media Library?
Removing a library item does not delete posts already published on social platforms.
Overview
Library deletion removes the MediaFox item and tracked usage links. It is separate from moderating or deleting a published social post.
Check unfinished work first
Review draft usage and replace media still needed for future content. A draft that references an unavailable item should be inspected before scheduling.
If public content must be removed
Open the actual published post and use a supported post-deletion action or the platform’s own tools. Do not rely on deleting a library entry to retract files already copied or delivered elsewhere.
