Troubleshoot uploads and media processing
Separate file validation, upload transfer, and processing problems.
Overview
A media file can upload successfully but still need processing before use. A thumbnail alone does not prove every selected platform will accept the file.
Find the failed stage
- Read validation
Check type, size, dimensions, and duration messages. Replace or convert an invalid file.
- Check the transfer
Use a stable connection and wait for progress. Retry or cancel the affected upload using its controls.
- Wait for processing
Allow video or thumbnail work to finish, then check the platform previews and any processing error.
Before uploading again
Check whether the library item or post media already exists. Report file type, size, stage, and message for persistent problems without exposing private file links unnecessarily.

This feature does not require an add-on, although permissions or organization settings may still apply.
