Troubleshoot “No permission”

Check the account, workspace, and role behind an access-denied message.

Core

Overview

No permission means MediaFox has not allowed the current account to perform the requested action. Viewing an item and editing it can require different roles.

Check access

  1. Check your account and organization

Confirm the invited email address and accepted membership in the intended workspace.

  2. Ask an owner to review roles

Name the exact task, feature, and page you need rather than requesting broad access.

  3. Check availability

Review add-ons, organization restrictions, role rank, and any pre-release limitation. Reload after an authorized change.

Still denied

Send support the URL, organization, action, and message. Do not use another member’s session to work around missing access.

Availability and access

Core

This feature does not require an add-on, although permissions or organization settings may still apply.
