Edit an existing post or create a repost
Choose whether to change a pending post or prepare a new copy.
Overview
Editing changes the existing editable post. Creating a repost prepares another post from existing content, so it needs its own review and schedule.
Edit a pending post
Open Post Details and use the full-editor action where available. Review the original pages, text, media, settings, and time. Save your changes and check the updated post rather than expecting a second item.
Create a new copy
Use the repost action where offered and check what was copied. Update dates, links, platform settings, and content before saving. Posted or currently publishing content can have locked fields; use the actions actually available for its state.
Availability and access
This feature does not require an add-on, although permissions or organization settings may still apply.
