Assign a post category and tags

Label content so your team can find and compare it later.

Overview

Categories and internal tags organize posts within your MediaFox organization. They are not published as caption text or public hashtags.

Label a post

Open the post’s organization labels
In Post Planner, locate the category and tag controls.
Choose consistent labels
Select an existing category and relevant tags. Create a tag where your access allows it, avoiding near-duplicates.
Save the post
Keep the labels when saving or scheduling, then use them in Search, Calendar, or supported reporting filters.

Paste several tags

Comma-separated values can add separate labels. A pasted list beginning with hashtags, such as #Launch #Summer, is split into individual tags; an ordinary multiword label can remain one tag. Review the resulting chips rather than assuming the pasted string is one label. These are still internal tags, not caption hashtags.

Category unavailable

Ask an owner to maintain the organization’s categories. Agree on a small naming scheme with your team so the same campaign is not split across several spellings.
