Vue d’ensemble
RSS tools read structured feeds and identify articles for supported workflows. Their availability is separate from ordinary Post Planner access.
RSS terms
- Feed: an RSS or Atom source. Item or article: an entry in that source.
- Schema mapping: tells MediaFox which XML values contain article fields.
- Fingerprint: stable signals used to recognize an article despite URL changes.
- Evergreen: reusable content intended to remain useful over time.
- Backoff: a scheduling mode that spaces recurring eligibility.
Collection is not publication
A fetched article is not necessarily a scheduled or approved post. Check the available workflow and resulting post state before assuming it will publish.
