Why a metric has no data

Check why a metric is empty before treating it as zero.

Overview

No data is not the same as zero. A widget can be empty because the selected platform does not supply that metric, the page cannot be accessed, or collection has not completed.

Check the likely causes

  • Read the metric note and check account-level versus post-level availability.
  • Confirm pages, filters, dates, and timezone.
  • Review page connection health and any freshness or partial-coverage notice.
  • Allow time for new connections and bulk-report collection.
  • Check external-post coverage and result limits for detailed widgets.

Preparing is not empty

Preparing widget data means the report calculation is still running. Let it finish; the widget can appear automatically. If preparation was interrupted, read the notice: MediaFox retries automatically and preserves existing data. Repeatedly recreating the widget is not a recovery step.

Live Meta reach is unavailable

A live-reach notice can mean reconnection is required or a temporary request failed. Stored report values are shown where available, but they are not a complete live summary. Use Check account connections if offered, or ask an organization administrator when you lack access. After recovery, use Retry live reach and wait for the result.

Still unexpected

Record the dashboard, widget, pages, and exact period. Include the preparation, missing-data, or reconnection message so support can distinguish a delayed calculation from unavailable source data.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
