Comment sentiment, commented emoji cloud, topic cloud, hashtag cloud, and opening the matching posts/comments. Follow the steps below in order, then verify the result before moving on. Reporting dashboards combine selected pages, date ranges, metrics, widgets, exports, and saved presentation choices.
Before you begin
Open this workflow with the account and organization that own the relevant data. MediaFox evaluates access at the time of each action, so a visible page does not always mean every control is editable.
If you are following this guide with a teammate, agree on the organization, page selection, date range, and intended result before either person saves changes.
- Sign in and select the organization that owns the pages, content, users, or settings involved.
- Open Reporting & Analytics in the organization navigation and clear unrelated filters before you begin.
How to use sentiment and cloud widgets
Work through the controls from top to bottom. Keep the current organization visible in the navigation and review inherited or existing values before replacing them.
- Open the correct workspace
Sign in to MediaFox, select the organization you want to work in, and open Reporting & Analytics in the organization navigation.
- Open the relevant action
Use the page controls to use sentiment and cloud widgets. Read inherited values and warnings before changing anything.
- Comment sentiment
Review comment sentiment and choose the value that matches your intended result.
- Commented emoji cloud
Review commented emoji cloud and choose the value that matches your intended result.
- Topic cloud
Review topic cloud and choose the value that matches your intended result.
- Hashtag cloud
Review hashtag cloud and choose the value that matches your intended result.
- Opening the matching posts/comments
Review opening the matching posts/comments and choose the value that matches your intended result.
- Review and confirm
Read any validation, permission, or confirmation message before saving. Continue only when the selected organization, pages, dates, and settings are correct for “Use sentiment and cloud widgets”.
Check the result
The task is complete when the dashboard, widget, metric, or export reflects the selected scope and current data availability. Reopen the item or refresh the list once to make sure the saved state is not only local to the current form.
For publishing, moderation, imports, exports, or background processing, also check the resulting lifecycle or activity state. A successful save can still be followed by platform processing, collection, or review.
- Confirm the organization, page, item, and date or timezone shown in the result.
- Look for a success message, updated status badge, activity entry, or changed timestamp.
- Keep the item ID or public URL when another teammate needs to verify the result.
Troubleshooting
If the result is missing or an action is unavailable, do not assume the data was lost. MediaFox can hide controls because of role, page access, organization allowlists, add-ons, lifecycle state, or an external platform limitation.
- Check the dashboard date range, selected pages, platform support, and the metric scope.
- Allow recently connected pages or bulk platform reports time to complete data collection.
- For exports, review freshness requirements, supported widget types, permissions, and destination configuration.
