Revoke a pending invitation

Cancel an invitation before someone joins the organization.

Overview

Revocation is appropriate for a mistaken, obsolete, or no-longer-needed invitation. It applies to a pending invitation, not an already accepted membership.

Revoke the invitation

  1. Find the pending entry

Open User Management, locate the recipient, and check status and expiry.

  2. Confirm revocation

Use the revoke action with sufficient user-management access and read the confirmation.

  3. Check the result

Refresh the list if needed. The old invitation can no longer be used to join.

Older status is unclear

Some older entries may show unknown expiry information. Check the current pending state before acting. To remove someone who already accepted, use the member-removal action instead.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
