Renew an expired or expiring page access token

Reauthorize a social page to keep publishing and data collection working.

Core

Overview

An access token is the permission MediaFox uses to communicate with a social platform. If it expires or permissions are removed, scheduled publishing and data collection can be affected.

Renew authorization

  1. Open the affected page

In Page Management, find the page with the expiry or connection warning.

  2. Reauthorize

Use the reauthorization control and sign in with a platform account that still manages the page. Complete the requested permissions.

  3. Check health and posts

Confirm the warning is resolved, then inspect scheduled or failed posts that may have been affected.

Do not assume failures are retried

Restoring a connection fixes access; it does not prove that a previously failed post was published. Open Post Details and check its status before choosing a retry.

This feature does not require an add-on, although permissions or organization settings may still apply.
