Understand Short Link viewing and editing roles.
Overview
FoxLink Short Links has roles separate from Link Trees. The FoxLink add-on must also be enabled in the organization.
Short Link roles
- Viewer can inspect accessible links, memberships, health, and recorded statistics.
- Editor can create links and perform supported target, slug, history, and deletion actions.
- Changing or deleting a link used in a tree also needs the relevant Link Tree editing permission.
Read-only targets
An auto-generated destination can remain read-only even for an editor because another feature owns it. Its custom slug can still be editable where allowed.

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
