Disconnect a social page

Remove a social page and its related MediaFox data from your workspace.

Overview

Disconnecting is a deletion action in MediaFox, not a temporary pause. It removes the page record and related stored content. Do not use it as the first fix for an expired connection.

Before deleting

  1. Review dependencies

Check scheduled posts, reports, and other workflows that use the page. Save information your team still needs.

  2. Choose Delete Page

In Page Management, identify the exact page and organization, then read and confirm the deletion message. Page-edit access is required.

After deletion

The action removes MediaFox data; it does not delete the social account itself. If MediaFox reports a follow-up cleanup failure, check whether local deletion completed before trying again. Reconnecting later should not be treated as a way to recover deleted history.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
