Control automatic external-link redirects
Choose whether MediaFox automatically continues to external websites.
Overview
When you follow an external link, MediaFox shows a leaving notice with the destination. With automatic redirects enabled, the notice continues after its five-second countdown.
Change the preference
Open My Account and find the automatic external-redirect setting. Turn it off if you prefer to review every destination and continue manually. The leaving screen also provides controls to proceed or cancel.
Check the destination
Read the displayed address before continuing, especially for links supplied by other people. Cancel if the destination is unexpected. This preference changes navigation behavior; it does not verify the trustworthiness of the destination website.
Availability and access
This feature does not require an add-on, although permissions or organization settings may still apply.
