Connect the Discord Bot
Connect Discord and choose the channel for organization notifications.
Overview
The Discord Bot add-on needs an authorized Discord connection and a destination channel. Use owner access in MediaFox and the necessary access in the intended Discord server.
Connect the bot
- Start setup
Open Discord Bot in Add-On Management and choose Connect to Discord. Allow the authorization window.
- Authorize the server
Review the bot installation and permissions in Discord, then return to MediaFox.
- Choose the channel
Select the available channel, save it, and configure the offered notification choices and language.
- Test delivery
Use Send Test Message where offered and check the chosen channel.
Wrong channel
Edit the integration rather than reinstalling blindly. Confirm where messages will be visible before enabling operational or failure alerts.
Availability and access
Your organization may need the relevant add-on enabled.
