Connect Amazon S3 to MediaFox
Connect an approved S3 destination using an AWS role and bucket name.
Overview
The Amazon S3 add-on uses an AWS Role ARN and bucket name, not an access-key form. Ask your AWS administrator to review the access and trust requirements before connecting an organization bucket.
Configure the connection
- Open the S3 add-on
With owner access, open its setup dialog in Add-On Management.
- Review AWS access
Have your administrator inspect the current in-app guide. Its compatibility permissions include account-wide bucket discovery and broad access that should be understood before approval.
- Enter approved details
Paste the Role ARN and bucket name supplied by your administrator, connect, and wait for the result.
Keep credentials private
Do not paste secret access keys into notes or support requests. If your security requirements cannot accept the current connection policy, contact MediaFox before configuring a production destination.
Availability and access
Your organization may need the relevant add-on enabled.
Some or all actions in this guide require the Owner role.
