Connect an X profile

Check X connection availability before starting authorization.

Overview

X is currently marked Under maintenance in the production Add New Page dialog. This is a MediaFox integration-availability restriction, not evidence that your X password or profile is wrong. Do not repeatedly authorize or disconnect an existing page to get around it.

When X authorization is enabled

Choose X
Open Page Management, select Add New Page, and start the X connection.
Authorize the profile
Check the account in the authorization window and complete the consent screens.
Confirm the connection
Return to MediaFox and locate the profile. Resolve connection errors before scheduling.

When connection is available

Use the steps above only when the X connection action is enabled for your environment. Check the returned result and page health. Maintenance does not mean the platform is permanently unsupported; ask your MediaFox contact about current availability.

If authorization fails

Restart an expired or canceled authorization only when the connection is available. For a rate-limit message, wait before retrying. If X denies access or MediaFox cannot save a connection, send support the displayed error. Pilot usage controls do not automatically reopen the integration or replay held posts.
