Configure ModFox Auto Moderator

Set separate spam thresholds for hiding and deleting comments.

Add-on

Overview

ModFox can moderate comments using spam likelihood and custom rules. Deletion is permanent, so use a stricter threshold for it than for hiding.

Set moderation rules

  1. Open the correct scope

Choose organization defaults, page-specific rules, or the intended post-specific override in AI-agent settings.

  2. Set thresholds

Configure the hide and delete thresholds. The delete threshold cannot be lower than the hide threshold.

  3. Review rules and preview

Read custom and editorial rules, inspect an available preview, then save only the changes you intend.

Understand the ranges

Comments between the two thresholds are hidden; comments at or above the delete threshold are deleted. Review agent activity afterward and adjust rules if legitimate comments are being affected.

Use page-specific rules

Page-specific rules replace the organization custom rules for one selected page. Thresholds stay shared, and a post-specific override still takes priority. New rules apply to new comments, so re-evaluate the page if existing comments should be scored again.
