Help guide

Choose a widget display type

Choose a chart or table that suits the metric and comparison.

Overview

Available display types depend on the widget. A line can show a trend, a bar chart can compare values, and a table can preserve detail.

Choose deliberately

  • Use a time-series display when changes across days matter.
  • Use a table or posting cards when readers need individual items.
  • For a pie chart, check what each slice represents and whether aggregation uses sum, average, or median.
  • Choose a size that leaves labels and values readable.

Save and inspect

Change the display type in the widget’s editing controls, save, and inspect the result. A different display does not change missing platform data into a measurable value.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
