Add, remove, resize, and reorder widgets

Arrange charts and tables to make a dashboard easier to read.

Overview

Widgets are the individual reporting blocks on a dashboard. Reporting editors can change the layout and metric configuration without creating a new dashboard.

Edit the layout

  1. Open Edit Widgets

    Open the intended dashboard with reporting-edit access.

  2. Add or remove blocks

    Select the metrics you need and remove widgets that no longer answer a useful question.

  3. Arrange and save

    Use supported drag, order, and size controls. Save the changes and check the normal dashboard view.

One widget fails

Review that widget’s message, scope, and metric support. A failed widget does not necessarily mean the whole dashboard is unavailable. Avoid removing it merely to hide a temporary load error.

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
