What automatic FoxLink removal means
Understand the permanent result of cleanup for a persistently broken link.
Overview
Automatic removal uses the same permanent identifier behavior as manual deletion. Removed generated keys and aliases return 410 Gone and cannot be reused.
Review affected trees
A removed destination can remain in the editor as an unavailable item while being hidden from the public page. Inspect the reported cause and choose whether to keep it for reference or remove the item from the tree.
Restore the visitor journey
If a valid destination is available, prepare a new supported link and update affected trees or campaigns. An old retired address is not revived merely because the destination website becomes healthy again after removal.
