Roles describe what a member can inspect, change, approve, or administer.
Overview
Most MediaFox access is feature-specific. A member can be a viewer in reporting and an editor for posts without having organization administration access.
Role terms
- Viewer: reads the accessible information for a feature.
- Editor: performs supported changes within a feature.
- Approver: takes part in the post-review process.
- Owner or Admin: administers the organization and sensitive shared settings.
Other limits still apply
Roles do not override platform restrictions, locked post states, add-on requirements, or page access. Ask an owner for the permission needed for a specific task rather than assuming every editor role is interchangeable.
