Retry a failed post

Return a failed post to the queue after correcting its cause.

Overview

Retry posting queues another publishing attempt. It is useful after fixing a connection or content issue, but should not be used while the first result is uncertain.

Recover the post

  1. Read the failure

Open Post Details and inspect the platform response and logs. Check the original page for an already-published copy.

  2. Correct the cause

Renew authorization, fix rejected content, or wait for a temporary platform restriction as indicated.

  3. Choose Retry posting

Use the retry action with post-edit access, then monitor its new state and logs.

Still failing

Keep the post ID, error message, and time for support. Do not create repeated new copies of the same failed post without checking the platform result.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
