Restore a published revision

Republish an earlier tree layout while replacing current draft changes.

Overview

Restoring a revision publishes a new revision based on the selected history entry. It replaces the current draft, so save any work you need to preserve before continuing.

Restore an earlier version

  1. Open Publishing history

Find the tree and inspect the available revisions and their dates.

  2. Choose carefully

Compare the intended revision with the current public version and draft.

  3. Restore and check

Read the replacement warning, restore, and open the public page after success.

Shared destinations are not rolled back

Restoring the tree does not restore earlier targets of shared Short Links. A removed destination can remain unavailable even when the older revision contains its item.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
