Post origin/content type
Origin explains how content entered MediaFox; content type describes its format.
Overview
A post can originate in the planner, be imported from a social platform, or be generated through another workflow. An image, video, or text post describes format rather than origin.
Common origins
- MediaFox: prepared directly in the planner.
- External: collected from the connected platform.
- RSS, Evergreen, or Bulk: created through the named workflow.
- Crossposting or repost: related to another post or sharing action.
Why it matters
Imported and reposted content can have different available editing and statistics. Use origin and format filters separately when searching for campaign content.
