How public Link Tree previews and views work

Understand shared-link previews and recorded page views.

Overview

A public tree supplies a page title, description, and preview image for services that read link metadata. Those services can cache their previews, so a social preview may update later than the tree itself.

Check what was published

Review the profile text and selected image, publish the intended version, and open the public address. A draft image change does not update the metadata of the existing public revision.

How views are recorded

FoxLink records eligible non-bot page views and available referrer and device information, using anonymized IP data. These are activity records, not a guaranteed count of unique people; bot filtering and unknown sources can affect the breakdown.

Availability and access

Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
