Change post-specific platform settings
Review the publishing options saved for a particular post.
Overview
Settings in Post Details can show options such as overlays, comments, post format, audience, or reply controls. Not every saved setting remains editable after scheduling or publication.
Review and edit
- Open Settings
Select the post and open its settings tab. Check the platform and current state.
- Change available fields
Update only the controls the interface allows, then save and wait for confirmation.
- Verify the result
Reopen the setting or post preview to confirm the saved value.
YouTube Shorts preparation
An eligible pending YouTube video can offer Convert to Short (9:16). It fits a video up to three minutes into a vertical frame with black padding, preserving the whole picture. Review the preview and format warning; this is not a guarantee of YouTube classification or thumbnail support.
Locked settings
A Story, Reel, TikTok post, or YouTube video may have restrictions specific to its format or state. Changing an organization default does not prove an existing published post has changed.
