Archive and restore a Link Tree
Mark a published tree inactive without taking its public page offline.
Overview
Archiving changes the tree’s library status. Its public page remains available, which makes archive unsuitable when your goal is to stop visitors accessing the page.
Change archive status
- Open the tree action
Find the published tree in the library or editor with Link Tree edit access.
- Archive
Read the confirmation that the public page remains available and confirm if intended.
- Restore later
Use Restore Link Tree to return it to the active published library.
Need another public result?
Use a redirect when visitors should go somewhere else. Permanent deletion disables the tree’s addresses with 410 Gone and cannot be treated as a reversible archive.
Availability and access
Availability depends on your organization access and assigned permissions.
