Überblick
The notification indicator shows when new alerts are available. These in-app notifications are separate from browser push, so you can read them without enabling device notifications.
Read your alerts
- Open the panel
Select the notification control in the navigation. Read the alert’s title, page identity, message, and time. Browse additional pages when there are more entries.
- Expand grouped comments
Comment activity can be grouped by social page. Expand its post breakdown to find a conversation, then follow the offered comments link.
- Follow the context
Use an offered page or post action to inspect the current item. Some older or inaccessible items retain their saved text without an action.
- Dismiss what you have reviewed
Use an entry’s dismiss control or Clear all. This clears saved activity from your panel, not the underlying posts, comments, or organization events.
Understand the badge
The badge counts activity entries, including grouped comment activity; it is not a count of individual comments or unresolved incidents. It displays 99+ for larger counts. A summary notification can represent more than one event.
Dismissal is not resolution
Clearing a comment group does not mark the social comments read or moderate them. Clearing a connection or system alert does not repair the issue or stop an unresolved reminder. Investigate the underlying item and use the appropriate resolution action where available.
An alert is missing
Allow the panel to refresh and check your notification preferences where offered. In-app history and browser push are separate. If a link is no longer available, locate the item in its feature with your current permissions rather than assuming dismissal deleted it.
